Day 01
Morning arrival and after hotel check in we transfer
to Myanmar's best golf course, the 18 hole Pun
Hlaing Championship course designed by Gary
Player. It is beautifully maintained and and has lovely
greens. We will have lunch at the club after our round.
Transfer back to your hotel for the evening. O/N Grand
Plaza Park Royal
Day 02
Golf at YCDC. There are two 18 hole courses to chose
from, the PONDI
course and the Silvery
course. PONDI was established in 1996 and
is a tight course requiring accuracy. The SILVERY course
is more wide open and suited to players of all abilities.
Transfer back to hotel for evening.
Day 03
Early morning flight Yangon to Bagan and after check-in
we begin sightseeing of one of Asia's most impressive
archaeological sites. These distinctive 11th, 12th and
13th century pagodas with their unique architecture,
ancient frescos, and Buddha images are well worth the
visit. Spend the night in Bagan.
Day 04
Golf at Bagan Golf
Resort. Today it is back to golf and after
studying the pagodas yesterday now we play amongst them.
The 18 hole Bagan Golf Resort wanders in between some
of the ancients pagodas. A fun golf course. Transfer
back to hotel for the evening.
Day 05
Morning flight to Mandalay where we have sightseeing
including the former royal capitals of Amarapura and
Inwa and a short boat ride to visit the massive ruins
of the Mingun pagoda. Spend the night in Mandalay.
Day 06
Today we play at the Mandalay
Hill Golf Club, located at the foot of famous
Mandalay Hill. Another 18 hole course with interesting
scenery. Transfer back to your hotel for the evening.
Day 07
Morning flight Mandalay to Yangon and afternoon sightseeing
includes the awe inspiring Shwedagon pagoda, a trip
to downtown Yangon where we can see Chinatown and also
many old colonial buildings. And we visit the 75 year
old Scott market which offers an excellent chance for
a last shopping spree. Spend the night in Yangon.
Day 08
Today we are playing at Myanmar's oldest golf course,
The Yangon Golf
Club.
Established in 1909, this is a fair but challenging
18 hole course nicely laid out amidst the trees and
rolling hills of northern Yangon and it is an occasional
stop on the Asian PGA tour. Enjoy your last day! Transfer
back to your hotel in time to check out (late check
out up to 6 pm) and transfer to the airport for for
evening dep flight.
