• All rates will be honored unless unforeseen circumstances such as accident, personal illness, political unrest, natural catastrophe - flooding, storm, earthquake, etc - which are beyond our control arise and necessitate some increases in pricing. Explore-Myanmar.com reserves the right to vary published rates under such circumstances and must notify the client without delay

2. DISCOUNTS

• Special rates will be applied for the family with infant and the child under twelve. Please contact the sales team for more information.
• 1 free of charge (FOC) is awarded for every 15 paying pax

3. BOOKING

• You can submit a request for any tour program by filling required details in the form provided.
• In the booking status email, you will be presented with the details of the tour arrangements, along with a unique assigned booking ID.
• Please follow the link provided in the confirmation email to confirm
  order and make payments.

4. PAYMENT

• Amount & Timing
• 30% of tour cost deposit is required to guarantee reservations. The deposit is refundable within 65 days prior to tour start date, less all incurred charges (i.e. bank charges, credit card charges) and $50 administration fee
• The booking request will automatically be cancelled if deposit payment is not received within the time stipulated under advice to you in the confirmation email
• Remaining 70% balance must be paid within 21 days prior to the tour commencement
• Payment is deemed to be settled only when it is cleared through our bank account

5. TOUR AMENDMENT

• Tour details can be amended any time prior to confirmation without charge.
• An administration fee of $5 per person will be charged for amendments after confirmation of bookings.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

• A written notification of cancellation must be submitted to us via email or fax, stating clearly the reservation reference number and email address. All cancellations will become effective only if you receive an email confirmation of receipt from us. If you do not receive any confirmation email from us, please contact us immediately.

7. REFUND POLICY

• We do not give refunds for no-shows, early checkouts or unused services after tour commencement
• Full refund will be given if for any reason (i.e. overbooking) Explore-Myanmar.com must cancel the tour. Under such cases Explore-Myanmar.com liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you.
• 4% credit card processing fee and USD 50 administration fee will be charged for all refunds arising from whatever reasons other than those caused by Explore-Myanmar.com.
• You should notify Explore-Myanmar.com of an intention to claim for refunds within 30 days after completion of the tour services. Copies of all supporting documents must be mailed to us for further processing and verification.

8. TRAVEL INSURANCE

• Travel insurance is not included in the tour cost.
• We strongly recommend you purchase a travel insurance package from your home country. The package should cover all aspects of the tour such as accidents, medical evaluation, thefts, baggage lost and cancellation.

9. DOCUMENTS

• You will need a passport and visa for traveling to Myanmar. To apply for visa, please contact Myanmar Embassy or Consulate in your home country or apply online at www.visa.gov.mm

10. RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY

• Explore-Myanmar.com will, to the best of its ability, conduct the tour as per agreement, taking all due care for the safety of the clients in the process. Although Explore-Myanmar.com cannot accept liability for loss, injury or damage suffered in connection with said tour, Explore-Myanmar.com will make every reasonable effort to assist the client in the event of any misadventure. Though serious accidents or medical emergencies are rare, when they do happen in a country where medical facilities and care are not up to western standards, it can be serious. Therefore Explore-Myanmar.com strongly urges all travelers to be sure that appropriate medical coverage is in place in the event emergency medical care and/or evacuation is needed.
• Explore-Myanmar.com cannot be responsible for alterations in tour conditions which are beyond our control (such as changes in airline schedules etc.) or those necessitated by “force majeure”, i.e. events including but not limited to war, adverse weather conditions, and so on, that could not, even with all due care, have been foreseen. In the event of any such circumstances, additional costs shall be borne by the tourist.
• Reservation made through Explore-Myanmar.com implies that you have agreed to all terms & conditions stated herein.

11. SEVERABILITY

• All terms and conditions stated herein constitute the entire Agreement, which shall be amended only by duly signed written consent of Explore-Myanmar.com and the client. In case any provision in this Agreement shall be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions hereof will not in any way be affected or impaired thereby unless stated otherwise in the Agreement.
